Dream Big

Home

I'm not usually a "dreamer".  In fact, I'm usually very much a realist.  Here is what I have, this is what I can do with it at this time, etc.  God is currently working in me though (through some very pushy people :) to have enough faith to dream big dreams.  I'm reading a great book right now called The Just Church and the author, Jim Martin, proposes that faith is composed of both belief and trust. Usually it isn't belief or doctrine that I struggle with.  Early in my Christian walk, I knew that I believed in God, in His Word and that He had called me to be a follower of Him.  It is my trust in those very same things though that sometimes wavers. I tend to trust only what I can see, only what I know is coming and then I wonder why I only get what I can do and handle.

God is calling me (and you) to trust Him in the places that seem impossible, to ask for the "big" things.  You see, He gets the glory when He allows these big things to happen and we can only say, "God did this!"

Cornerstone Revitalization Center is dreaming BIG right now.  In each of our three major ministries there are bigger things that we know God is calling us to and that we have very little to offer in our own power.  It's going to take FAITH on the part of our board, our neighbors, our supporters and our county in order to see these dreams realized!  Will you join us in praying?  Look for posts this coming week about how you can pray specifically for our athletic ministry, Bensley-Cornerstone Athletics; for our after-school program, Big Pal/Little Pal and for the New Creation Women's Center ministry.  We can't wait to share our dreams with you!
